Those Who Struggle to Get to Sleep

The Plight of The Sleepless

It’s 12:30 AM on a work night. You’re exhausted, you’ve had a huge day, you’ve done everything you can to give yourself the best opportunity for sleep.

To start with, you’ve stopped using your phone, or you’ve turned off the blue light for an hour or so before bedtime, you’ve maybe listened to a relaxing recording or some music. You’ve made sure that the temperature in the room is just right and you’ve blocked every possible avenue in which any light might reach your eyes.

You’ve done all this, and yet you’ve been in bed for over two hours, lying awake and becoming more and more frustrated.

How could this be happening? You’ll have to be getting up in a few hours and you’ve had no sleep; this is so frustrating!

And no matter how hard you try to get to sleep, it just seems more hopeless and frustrating.

How To Resolve This

The chances are you’re probably trying too hard and, with a few adjustments to your approach, coupled with hypnosis for sleep, you’ll find deep and easy sleep that makes you feel refreshed, as well as regaining your confidence in your body’s ability to sleep normally.

Of all the sleep issues clients see us for, this can tend to be the quickest to resolve. Click below to read some blog posts on sleep and find some handy tips. Alternatively, if you want to get in touch with a hypnotherapist in Brisbane now, please fill out the form below.

What Makes This Program Different?

Over 90% of my clients see me for an issue related to their sleep and my success rate is also over 90%. This program has been perfected over a number of years and it just works. It’s sleep-aid-free (no melatonin, sleeping pills etc) and it teaches you how to sleep well naturally. I see most clients for around 3 to 4 sessions, which is a testament to how quickly my clients achieve results.

Sleep Audit

A full audit of your sleep, with recommendations to help give your mind the best opportunity to achieve restful sleep. This audit is based on my personal experiences with insomnia and my work with countless insomniacs. This isn’t just the typical “sleep hygiene” a well-meaning GP might advise you to try. These are proven psychological changes that are applied to your specific situation, with the intention being to have you feel much more relaxed at bedtime.

Releasing Pressure

Chances are, you’ve been to a GP and/or some form of therapist to resolve the issue and they might have had you start observing some sleep hygiene principles. I’m guessing it might feel like there’s even more pressure on you to sleep and it’s potentially frustrating you even more. This program is solely focused on relieving that pressure.

Insider Knowledge

I’ve been where you are and have experienced many years of insomnia until hypnotherapy resolved it. I tried countless other techniques and “solutions” in the past that failed to improve things, so I know what helps and hurts sleep and I’ll coach you throughout the process, to ensure no stone is left unturned. I know how you feel right now and I can promise that you can get things back to normal.

Personalised Sessions

Every person is different and has varying needs. All sessions are tailored to a client’s particular issue, their interests and their capabilities. I can also teach you self-hypnosis, so that you can use this tool long after you’ve finished seeing me.

Guided Meditation

A guided meditation recording specific to your situation, to help you relax more deeply and become more familiar with my approach. Clients often enjoy listening to these recordings long after their program has finished.

A Safe, Simple and Effective Treatment

Whether you’ve recently acquired a sleep issue or whether it’s been around for years, I’d like to hear from you to see if we’re a good fit.

1. Free Initial Consultation

This is where I ask you about your sleep, to form a solid idea of what's preventing healthy sleep. This is your opportunity to describe the effect insomnia is having on your life.

2. Sleep Audit

The Sleep Audit is the first step, and the most important one in the program. It's designed to totally change your mentality towards sleep.

3. Hypnotherapy

By making positive suggestions in trance to what some people like to call the "subconscious mind", a change is much more easily able to be accepted and acted upon.

Why Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of a naturally-occurring state (hypnosis) that can be achieved by anyone who is willing to go into this particular state of awareness.

You’re not asleep while being hypnotised, but it doesn’t feel like being fully awake either.

By utilising this natural state, we can make positive suggestions to help make a permanent change, by “bypassing” that voice in your head that questions everything.

Hypnosis feels somewhat similar to meditation, and some people believe it’s a deep form of relaxation. It feels a bit like that moment in the morning when you’re not quite awake, but not quite asleep either.
You may feel a little drowsy, you might feel some tingling sensations in your muscles or limbs.
You’ll be fully aware of what’s being said when you’re in an hypnotic state, and you’ll remember it afterwards. You’ll always be in control and you can bring yourself out of trance at any time.

It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.

You don’t need hypnotherapy. You need to sleep better, and hypnotherapy is incredibly effective in achieving that. Conservatively, over 90% of our clients improve their sleep significantly.

My programs are generally between 2 and 6 sessions, but results will tend to be noticed after the first session. The whole program should be treated as pieces of a puzzle as the techniques used will be quite different in each session.
By the time your program has finished and you’ve seen me a number of times, you’ll be sleeping much better. That improvement increases as time goes by.

This is one of the more commonly asked questions, and it’s understandable given that it can feel like your situation is far more hopeless than others’.

This program works just as well for those who’ve recently acquired an issue as it does for those who’ve struggled for decades and tried everything under the sun.
